Texas Hold’em is a great game to play and in the recent years with all of the televised publicity and fan fare the game have become more popular than ever. This is a community card game which means that as each player gets cards of their own there are also cards dealt onto the table for all players to use, with the cards on the table and the cards in your hand the object of the game is to make the best five card poker hand out of all of the cards. After each player get two face down cards, the two players to the left of the dealer have to place the blinds. The first player has to place the small blind which is half of the minimum bet, and the player to his left has to place the big blind, which equals the total amount of the minimum bet. After the blinds have been places the rest of the players at the table get to bet. Now that this round of betting has taken lace the Flop is laid out on the table, this consists of three community cards that are laid out in the middle of the table. Another round of betting now takes, place following by another community card called the Turn being laid on the table. Once again a round of betting occurs followed by the final card called the River and another round of betting, once this happens it is time to show cards and decide the winner.

Omaha Hi is a very popular game that will allow you to play the best kind of card game available. There are different ways to play this game but basically it is a community card game in which each player is trying to make the best two five card poker hands with two hole cards and three community cards. The games start with the players in the two first positions to the left of the dealer posting the blinds. The small blind equals half of the minimum bet amount and is placed by the first player to the left of the dealer, the big blind is the total amount of the minimum bet and is placed by the person to the left of the small blind. This game is played in 5 rounds, the Preflop, the Flop, the Turn, the River and the Showdown. The Flop provides the first three community cards and is followed by a round of betting. Then the Turn provides the fourth community card, then another round of betting, the River gives the fifth and final community card followed by final betting and finally the Showdown is when the winner is decided.
